Google is considered late in dark mode and its related features. In Android 10, Google introduced a native dark mode, but it cannot be set to automatically turn on or off.
On the contrary, you have been unable to interrupt it to enable or disable it, which is very inefficient for users who use their smartphones as their daily drivers.
However, this has changed in Android 11 because you can now create a custom dark mode schedule. Or just let your phone switch automatically according to the sunset and sunrise in your time zone.
STEPS:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Display.
- Tap Dark theme.
- Select Schedule.
- Select either of the following:
- Turns on at the custom time
- Turns on from sunset to sunrise
- Follow on-screen instructions.
