Google has announced on Google I/O 2021 that Android 12 is the upcoming version of the Google operating system for smartphones.
In addition, 11 brands including OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo, Samsung, Xiaomi, iQOO, ASUS, Pixel, etc. have received the Beta version update of the operating system for testing and developing their own skins.
However, Android 12 features may only be available for Google Pixel devices. At the same time, this new version of Android aims to provide unique color themes, easy-to-use UI, faster application loading time, better privacy features, etc.
System-wide Wallpaper-based theming
This is a major change to the system UI in Android 12. The whole system theme will be based on your wallpaper and will be determined by the phone itself.
This means that the phone will automatically select a primary color and a color scheme, and then apply it to most user interfaces (from buttons to sliders).
In addition, widgets belong to the same category. As the wallpaper changes, the widget color will adapt to the background wallpaper image.
In the official Android 12 preview, Google refers to this wallpaper-based theme as content designed by you.
