Samsung’s One UI 8 beta could arrive soon

One UI 8

Samsung is reportedly preparing to launch the One UI 8 beta program, potentially starting in June 2025. Built on Android 16, this update is undergoing internal testing and promises fresh features for Galaxy users. The beta is likely to debut on the Galaxy S25 lineup, with devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 joining shortly after.

After the rocky rollout of One UI 7, Samsung is working to ensure a smoother release for One UI 8. Early reports suggest the update might not bring sweeping changes but will refine the experience with subtle upgrades and better performance. The stable version could arrive by July or August, possibly launching with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7, which may ship with One UI 8 out of the box.

Galaxy fans can join the beta through the Samsung Members app in supported regions, helping Samsung iron out kinks before the final release. While One UI 8 may not transform the interface, it will carry Android 16’s core improvements, enhancing eligible devices. Stay tuned for updates as the beta launch approaches!
