Samsung rolls out fresh updates for Galaxy devices

Samsung is keeping its Galaxy devices up to date with new software updates, bringing better security and performance to users worldwide. These updates target the Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy S25 series, and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, ensuring they stay safe and run smoothly.
For the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra, the April 2025 security update is now available in multiple regions, including Europe and India, after starting in the US. This update strengthens device security by fixing over 60 vulnerabilities, keeping your data safe. Although the Note 20 series runs on Android 13 with One UI 5, Samsung continues to provide essential security patches to maintain privacy and protection.
The Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra are getting the May 2025 security update in the US, starting with unlocked models. This update, about 670MB in size, boosts system stability and security. While it doesn’t add new features, it ensures a smoother experience by addressing potential threats, with a larger update possibly coming in June.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic has received a new firmware update in South Korea, with a global rollout expected soon. This update enhances security and refines performance, though it may not include the latest March 2025 patch. Users can install it via the Galaxy Wearable app to keep their smartwatch secure.
To get these updates, go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install on your device. Samsung’s commitment to regular updates keeps your Galaxy experience reliable and protected.
