Apple’s AirTags cost around 39 US dollars, 32 mm in diameter

According to the news, Apple’s rumored AirTags item tracker will be slightly larger than a 50-cent coin and approximately three times thicker.

The size of AirTags is 32mm x 32mm x 6mm that is smaller than Samsung’s Galaxy SmartTags and larger than Tile Sticker. Apple AirTags will have two size options, but it is not clear why there are two sizes.

In the internal version of iOS 13, AirTags is a small round white label with an Apple logo on the front. They may be attached to objects by adhesives or connection points like rings, and there may be multiple ways to use them with different objects.

The cost of AirTags is estimated to be around each, but when they will be released is still a mystery. In the iOS 14.5 beta, a new “Items” tab is enabled by default in the Find My app, suggesting that the AirTags item tracker will be released soon.

Apple stated that iOS 14.5 will be released in the “early spring”, but the specific release date is still unclear. Apple will announce new products “soon”, either through a press release or through some kind of event. According to the whistleblower Jon Prosser in a YouTube video, Apple plans to hold an event in April this year.

However, Prosser himself admits that it is worth treating the rumors of this April event with some skepticism, because this will be the first time Apple will hold an event in April in 11 years, but he did say that his source is perfectly correct.

Three new products are expected to be launched, belonging to the tablet, wearable and accessory categories. Wearables are “probably” new seasonal Apple Watch straps, the rumored new iPad Pro is a new tablet, and AirTags will belong to the accessory category.

The mass shipment of mini-LED display components for the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro will begin in the second quarter of 2021, spanning April to June. Bloomberg’s Mark Gulman previously claimed that Apple plans to release new iPads as early as April, including new 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models.
