Apple is considering launching a rugged and durable Apple Watch. The target users are athletes, hikers, and others who use Apple Watch in more extreme environments. Apple has discussed this device internally and may release a watch later in 2021 or in 2022 at the earliest.
This product is called the “Explorer Edition” internally by Apple. It will have the same functions as the standard Apple Watch, plus the same shock resistance and protection features as Casio’s G-Shock Watch.
