Hon Hai has never commented on a single customer, product, or order. According to reports, Google is planning to launch two flagship phones, one of which may be a foldable design, tentatively named “Pixel Notepad”, and the other is a high-end Pixel phone.
Taiwan media pointed out that at present, the two major foundries of Google Pixel smartphones are Hon Hai and Compal, and Hon Hai has always produced high-end Pixel models. In terms of specifications, Ross Young, CEO of the research institute DSCC, said that Google’s first folding screen phone will be equipped with a 5.8-inch screen, about the size of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series, and will continue to use the self-developed chip Tensor, priced at about $1,400.
