Gooogle Android version will bring a new feature allows users to delete last 15 minutes of search history

Google confirmed that the Google Android version of the app introduced a new feature that allows users to delete the last 15 minutes of search history.

“We’re currently rolling out this feature on Google’s Android app, and we expect it to be available to everyone using the app in the coming weeks, ” Google spokesman Ned Adriance said in a statement.” He also said he was exploring pushing the feature to other platforms.

Open Google’s Android app and tap your profile picture to see if the feature is available. The “delete last 15 minutes of search history” feature took a long time to be introduced to the Android app.

Google first announced the feature at its I/O developer conference in May last year and brought it to Google’s iOS app in July. At the time, Google said it would launch an Android version of the feature later in 2021, but for some reason, the company missed that deadline.

It’s unclear if Google plans to bring the new features to the desktop. In its announcement last May, the company did not specify which platforms the new feature would be available on, and in July, Google only said the feature would be available on iOS and Android apps.

Moreover, Google also offers another tool that automatically deletes content from your search history that is 3, 18, or 36 months old.
