Moreover, Vanced’s creators revealed that the project will be shut down in the next few days, the download link will be removed, and the owners of Vanced said they had to stop the project “due to legal reasons.”

Google recently sent a letter to Vanced owners, forcing developers to stop distributing and developing the app. “We were asked to remove all references to ‘YouTube’ and to change the logo and remove all links to YouTube products,” an admin on the Vanced team revealed.

Furthermore, Vanced is a popular third-party YouTube app for Android that allows YouTube users to block all video ads on YouTube without a premium subscription. Vanced also has a built-in true dark theme, as well as customization features not available in the official YouTube app for Android.
