Fossil has announced the Fossil Gen 5 LTE smartwatch, adding cellular connectivity to its 2019 model.
This device fully matches the characteristics of the original model. The watch is based on the Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC, it features a 1.28-inch AMOLED display with a density of 328 PPI, 1 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of flash memory.
So far, the Fossil Gen 5 LTE smartwatch is slated to launch in the US this spring and will only be sold by Verizon. The watch uses Verizon Number Share to sync one phone number between two devices.
The company has confirmed that the watch will be available from other carriers in the US later this year and will be available in other countries around the world. The device is priced at $ 349.
