Samsung’s Galaxy S23 FE and Tab S8 get Android 15 update
Samsung is bringing its latest Android 15-based One UI 7 update to more devices worldwide, and users are excited! The Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy Tab S8 series are now getting this big software upgrade, packed with cool features and improvements.
For the Galaxy S23 FE, the update started rolling out in late April and is now reaching more countries, like those in Asia and Europe. This phone skipped the beta testing phase, so users can download the update right away without waiting.
It comes with smoother animations, a handy “Now Bar” for quick notifications, and smart AI tools, like call transcription, to make daily tasks easier. However, some users have noticed their battery draining faster, about 10-20% less life than before. Samsung is working on a fix, expected in a May 2025 update.
The Galaxy Tab S8 series, including the Tab S8, S8 Plus, and S8 Ultra, is also getting One UI 7 in Europe for both Wi-Fi and 5G models. The update, which began in Korea and the US, brings a fresh look, better performance, and the April 2025 security patch. Users can check for it by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
