Samsung might let you use YouTube Music for alarms

Samsung’s One UI is known for its user-friendly interface and a host of customization options, especially when it comes to personalizing your device. One popular feature is the ability to set your favorite tunes as alarm sounds. Now, Samsung could be adding another choice to this feature.

According to Android Authority, there are signs in the coding of both the Samsung Clock app and the YouTube Music app for Android that point to an upcoming update. This update might allow you to pick songs from YouTube Music to wake you up in the morning. This integration was spotted in the latest versions of these apps, suggesting that soon you could set not just a single song but even a playlist from YouTube Music as your alarm.

Currently, with the Samsung Clock app, you can choose from built-in alarm sounds, use Bixby Alarm, or select tracks from Spotify. Spotify has been an option for some time, and adding YouTube Music will give you even more variety, particularly if your favorite tracks aren’t on Spotify.

This feature hasn’t made its way to the public yet, but the code references indicate that Google and Samsung might be working on it behind the scenes. While there’s no exact release date announced, it seems we might see this new option soon. Keep an eye out for updates if you’re keen on waking up to your YouTube Music playlist!
