Samsung to fine-tune One UI 7 for Galaxy S25 Ultra

Samsung has released the One UI 7 with the Galaxy S25 series, but they’re not stopping there. Even though the current version is stable, Samsung is planning to make it even better with some performance tweaks in the coming months.
Recent whispers suggest that it might take about two months for these improvements to roll out. Right now, the One UI 7 on the Galaxy S25 series isn’t fully optimized, meaning Samsung has more work to do to get it just right.
The first software update for the Galaxy S25 series has just started rolling out, bringing with it the February 2025 security patch. It also fixes some issues with night photography on the camera.
One UI 7 is already getting good reviews for its smooth animations, handy features, and overall stability. However, Samsung aims to polish these further. They’re planning to enhance system animations, improve performance, and better manage background app processes by the end of March.
For those with older Samsung models, the wait for the stable One UI 7 might be a bit longer, around three months. There’s talk of multiple beta versions being released before the final, stable update is available.
The Galaxy S25 series was unveiled on January 22 and hit the stores globally on February 7. Pre-orders showed a strong demand for these new devices. They’re powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which includes Qualcomm’s new Oryon CPU, along with better GPU and NPU, making AI functions on the phone significantly more powerful.
Just confirmed:
Samsung One UI 7 running on the Galaxy S25 Ultra is stable but not optimised as expected. It takes 2 more months for this.
