Google is imposing another significant feature to the Chrome app in the form of a new boarding pass detector tool. Eventually, this addition will use Google’s list of airline URLs to rectify your boarding pass data on open tabs. One can access the respective feature not only for airlines but also for bus, train, and monorail journeys.
Spotted by the well-known Google apps analyst – AssembleDebug, the company has added a new flag to Chrome Canary that points out the automation of boarding pass details.
How does the Google Chrome boarding pass detector function?
Using the predetermined list of airline URLs to check if there are any boarding pass data on an opened tab. When detected, the feature will add it to your Wallet app just like the generic passes that can already be added via photos and screenshots. Things are currently in development. Although you can check out the feature through Chrome Flags.
