India’s Blade signs order for 200 electric planes from Embraer’s Eve

According to the latest report, Brazil’s Eve said on Tuesday that Blade India has signed a purchase order for up to 200 vertical take-offs and landing (eVTOL) electric aircraft, enabling it to expand its urban air in the Asian country.

Blade India, a joint venture between Hunch Ventures and Blade Air Mobility, will also collaborate with Eve, which is controlled by aircraft manufacturer Embraer SA, on a three-month pilot project that uses helicopters to connect passengers, the company said in a statement.

Blade India electric planes orderMoreover,  Embraer Eve previously stated that eVTOL can meet various basic applications in the market, such as humanitarian response and disaster relief. It also includes short-haul transportation for urban road travelers seeking to avoid traffic jams.
