OnePlus provides you an option, through which you can lock apps on your device, and the app will only get unlocked, whenever you will try to unlock it with your fingerprint. This feature prevents unauthorized access to the apps of your OnePlus smartphone.

After enabling the fingerprints on apps, whenever you will open that locked apps, every time you will be asked to unlock them via your fingerprint. You just need to place your finger on the screen and the app will be opened. But before you lock the apps, don’t forget to put fingerprints on your OnePlus smartphone. You can always add various fingerprints whenever you want. Or you can also change the fingerprint if it is needed.
How to put fingerprints on your smartphone
- Go to the settings menu on your OnePlus device
- Click on Security & lock screen
- Tap on Fingerprint
- Here, add a passcode or pattern to add a fingerprint
How to lock apps with fingerprints
- Head towards the Settings menu on your OnePlus smartphone
- Click on the Utilities
- Search and find the App locker and press on it
- Click on Add apps to get a list of supported apps that can be protected through your fingerprints.
- Enter your PIN or Password if needed
- Select the box for the apps you want to enable fingerprints
