Moreover, the Ariya, Nissan’s second all-electric model after the Leaf hatchback, will go on sale in Japan on May 12. Previously, Nissan announced that the model would go on sale in late March.

Furthermore, Ariya was originally planned to be launched in mid-2021, but was delayed due to the new crown pneumonia epidemic and chip shortages. Nissan said the model will go on sale in Europe this summer and in the U.S. in the fall.
