The blogger emphasized that these three test machines are all models designed based on the sm8475 when the case was opened. The ones that were based on the sm8450 before and were going to be replaced by the 8475 were not counted.

This means that Xiaomi currently has three new models using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus under development, and several previous models using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, but not yet released, will also switch to the new processor.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus will use TSMC’s 4nm process technology, which is Qualcomm’s first processor to return to TSMC after the Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 two generations of Fire Dragon.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus follows the “1+3+4” three-cluster architecture in the CPU, which consists of the super-large-core Cortex X2, the large-core Cortex A710, and the small-core Cortex A510. Boosted and features a new Adreno GPU.

According to the blogger, several new phones that use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus are currently using a large-screen design, which means that users who are looking forward to a flagship with a small screen may need to add more.
