“Find My” is an app and service provided by Apple Inc. This feature allows you to connect your iOS devices so that you can find them in case they got lost.
The Find My app combines Find My iPhone and Find My Friends into a single app in the latest versions of iOS, iPad, and macOS.
So now the Find My app also allows sharing your location with friends, family, and contacts from your iOS devices and you can also locate them. To share your location you have to make sure that Share My Location is turned on.
How to notify a friend when your location changes:
Step1: Open Find My.
Step2: Tap People at the bottom of the screen, then tap the name of the person you want to notify.
Step3: Under Notifications, tap Add, then tap Notify [your friend’s name].
Step4: Choose whether you want to notify your friend when you arrive at or leave a location.
Step5: Choose a location, or tap New Location to create a new location and set a location radius.
(With a larger radius, your friend is notified when you’re near the location instead of right at the location.)
Step6: Choose whether you want your friend to be notified only once or every time.
Step7: Tap Add.
