Apple iOS 15 tips and tricks: How to enable Find My in Mac

In this article, we will tell you how to enable Find My in Mac.

“Find My” is an app and service provided by Apple Inc. to find lost devices. This feature allows you to connect your iOS devices so that you can find them in case they got lost.

If you do not want to lose your iPhone, AirPods, Apple Watch, Mac, iPad and iPod then make sure that you set up Find My so that if you ever lose a device or item you can locate it.

How to enable Find My in Mac:

Step1: Go to the Apple menu, then tap on System Preferences.

Step2: Click Security & Privacy, then click the Privacy tab. If the padlock in the lower left is locked, click it, then enter the name and password of the administrator.

Step3: Select Location Services.

Step4: Select the Enable Location Services checkbox, and make sure that the checkbox next to Find My is selected.

Step5: Click Done, then return to the main System Preferences window.

Step6: Click Apple ID, then click iCloud.

Step7: Select the checkbox next to Find My Mac

Step8: To make sure you can find your Mac if it’s ever lost or stolen, click Options. Check that Find My Mac is On and Find My network is On.* Then click Done.
