By default set full-screen gestures in your Huawei P40 Pro/P40 Pro+/P40 devices. You can enable navigation gestures or change the navigation bar to three-key navigation.
To change system navigation on Huawei P40 Pro go to system & update settings.
How to Enable Navigation Gestures
Step 1: Pull down the notification tray from the top and touch on the “Settings gear” icon.
Step 2: Scroll down and touch the “System & updates”.
Step 3: Touch on “System navigation”.
Step 4: Choose from “Gestures (We choose) or Three-key navigation”.
Step 5: Touch on “Settings”.
Step 6: Toggle on “Swipe across the bottom to switch apps”.
Back: Swipe in from the left or right edges to return to the previous screen.
Home: Swipe up from the bottom to go to the home screen.
Recent tasks: Swipe up from the bottom and hold to view recent tasks.
Switch between apps: Swipe across the bottom edge of the screen to switch between apps.
