Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update rolling out for Samsung Galaxy F41

Earlier this year, Samsung released the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update to the Galaxy F41 smartphone in India. However, it belongs to a budget segment which is why it’s eligible to get two generations of Android upgrades to complete the lifecycle.

The Galaxy F41 is now receiving the One UI 3.1 update over the air. Identified via build version F415FXXU1BUC8, the One UI 3.1 update is following its way to the Indian market. Moreover, it also installs the March 2021 security patch for better device protection.

Samsung One UI 3.1, which was debuted with the Galaxy S21 flagships has some cool features such as Eye Comfort Shield, Object Eraser, Private Share, Samsung Free, Google Duo integration with stock dialer app, buds Auto-Switching, ability to remove location data before sharing and more.

The March 2021 security patch comes with fixes for 4 critical bugs, 26 high-level CVEs, and 0 moderates levels of bug fixes. Since it is an initial rollout, so it may take some time to be available widely. Till then, you can freely check for the updates manually by following the simple steps given below.

How to check for update:

  • Open Settings
  • Select Software updates section
  • Then tap on Download and install button
