Samsung Galaxy S10 series now receiving April 2021 security update

In the month of March itself, Samsung has started to rollout April 2021 security update for its several Galaxy devices. Till now, there are a number of smartphones that have started getting these latest security improvements.

The April 2021 security update is released for the Galaxy devices including the Galaxy S21, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy A52, and Galaxy Z Fold 2 before changing the calendar month.

Now, another Galaxy lineup is joining the list with the April 2021 security patch on the last day of this month. According to the latest information, the Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ smartphones are now getting these security improvements.

Other than the security improvements, this update doesn’t add any new features or system optimizations. However, the Galaxy S10 series users have recently received the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update with various new features.

It is important to note that the new update is currently rolling out in select European countries including Switzerland and the Netherlands. As always, you’ve to wait for some time until the company ensures the stability of this new firmware update for the Galaxy S10 phones.

How to check for updates:

  • Go to Settings
  • Scroll down to the Software updates section
