Meizu 18 and 18 Pro official version OTA software is expected to be released soon

Meizu Technology Marketing Director Wan Zhiqiang stated through social media that the official OTA firmware of Meizu 18 and 18 Pro is supposed to be pushed earlier than users expected.

Meizu 18 and Pro were released at the beginning of the month, all equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, equipped with Samsung E4 material SuperAMOLED screen, resolution 3200×1440, with a peak brightness of 1300nit.

At the press conference, Meizu stated that the screen of the new device cannot be turned on at 2K+120Hz at the same time. However, Meizu later announced that it will unlock this feature and will push it in subsequent OTA upgrades.

Last week, Meizu launched the Flyme 9.0.1.0A media early adopter version firmware for the new Meizu 18 series, unlocking the 120Hz screen refresh rate and QHD+ resolution dual-opening. The update log displays that this update also optimizes the heating problem and game stability in some scenes.
