Chiwei will launch a CoreBook Xe, with Xe Max and 10th generation Core low-voltage processors

Chiwei will launch a notebook named CoreBook Xe next month, furnished with Intel’s exclusive Xe Max and 10th generation Core low-voltage processors, with specifications similar to T.BOLT’s previously released T.BOLT 10 DG notebook.

As per the report, Chiwei CoreBook Xe has a 15.6-inch 1080p IPS display, 8GB memory, and 256GB SSD, equipped with Intel Core i5-10210U processor and Xe Max independent display, this independent display has 96 EU and 4GB of LPDDR4x video memory.

Earlier, Intel released the Iris Xe Max discrete graphics card, based on the Xe-LP graphics architecture, and the Xe core display using the same graphics architecture, designed for thin and light notebook computers.

Intel stated that the Iris Xe Max discrete graphics card is Intel’s first discrete graphics card based on the Xe architecture and is part of Intel’s strategy to enter the discrete graphics market.

Only Acer, Asus, and Dell initially launched Xe Max notebooks. Now Intel may be clearing the inventory of Xe Max. Taiwan Electric Chiwei has also launched Xe Max notebooks, with a lower positioning.

Intel’s Xe Max code-named DG1 is just a small test, and the DG2 high-performance standalone that will be released later this year is even more worth looking forward to.
