Some 21.5-inch iMac 4K models on Apple’s official website are no longer available for buy

21.5-inch 4K iMac models equipped with 512GB or 1TB SSD storage configurations can no longer be ordered on Apple’s official website. However, other configurations like the lowest-end 256GB SSD option or 1TB Fusion Drive storage option are still available.

Although there are rumors that an upgraded iMac will be released d this year, the current lack of high-end storage options is likely due to component shortages rather than new products being launched. 512GB and 1TB SSD storage options are also popular upgrade items that bring great inconvenience to buyers who want to buy iMac now.

The launch time of the redesigned iMac is still unclear, and we require to observe whether Apple will solve the shortage of existing models in the future. It is quite rare that the Mac configuration is completely unavailable for ordering.

Apple usually only significantly delays the shipment time estimate when there is a shortage of components or a shrinking inventory before a major upgrade.
