Micron’s Inruida has launched a 4TB version of the X6 portable SSD that utilizes a new master control with a read and write speed of up to 800MB/s.
According to reports, the old X6 portable SSD uses Xiangshuo’s ASM235CM chip, and the new model uses Phison’s U17 chip launched at CES, supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) interface and a maximum capacity of 4TB.
Yingruida claims that the new X6 portable SSD can read and write speeds of up to 800MB/s. This product uses Micron’s 96-layer 3D NAND (QLC). By looking at the cost, the 4TB version of the X6 portable SSD is priced at US$490 that is approximately RMB 3,200.
