Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO satirizes CDPR ‘Cyberpunk 2077’

Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan stated in an interview with GQ that the premise of the game’s release is that the game has been developed. Obviously, what Ryan is suggesting here is the CDPR masterpiece ‘Cyberpunk 2077’.

Ryan expressed his confidence in ‘Returnal’, ‘Ricky and Clank: Separation’ and ‘Horizon: Forbidden West’. The quality of the game is more important than a punctual launch.

After the release of ‘Cyberpunk 2077‘, there was a series of technical failures, and it was almost impossible to run on modern Xbox or PS consoles. CDPR publicly apologized for this. The company’s stock price fell continuously for this reason, and its market value was once Shrunk 37%.

Sony withdrew ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ from the PS store on December 18 last year. Sony said at the time that all players who have purchased ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ in the PS Digital Store can apply for a full refund.

Players who do not wish to refund can continue to utilize the game, and future updates will not be affected. Following Sony, Microsoft also declared on official social media that it would refund players who bought the digital version of Cyberpunk 2077 on the Microsoft Store and proposed a specific refund policy.

CDPR announced earlier this month that the company had suffered a cyberattack, saying that a hacker had entered its internal network, encrypted the server, and left a ransom note, threatening if not after paying the ransom, the source code of the game will be declared.

CDPR revealed that it will bring many improvements and fixes to all aspects of the game, and version 1.2 of ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ is supposed to be released in March.

Currently, PS players can purchase the physical version of Cyberpunk 2077, but still cannot buy the digital version.
