Netgear released its first Wi-Fi 6E router Nighhawk RAXE500, supports new 6Ghz frequency band

At the CES 2021 event, Netgear launched its first Wi-Fi 6E router Nighthawk RAXE500, which supports the new 6Ghz frequency band and has a speed of up to 10.8Gbps.

The new 6GHz band provides up to 200% of the available spectrum compared to traditional dual-band (5GHz and 2.4GHz) WiFi.

This router supports 4-stream 6GHz, 4-stream 5GHz, and 4-stream 2.4GHz has more available bandwidth and reduces congestion of all WiFi devices.

Netgear Nighthawk RAXE500 has a built-in 64-bit 1.8GHz quad-core processor to ensure a smooth 4K/8K UHD streaming and gaming experience. In terms of network interface, this router has 1 2.5G Ethernet port and 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports.

The NETGEAR Nighthawk RAXE50 router is currently scheduled to be available on NETGEAR.com and other online resellers in the first quarter of 2021. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $599.99.
