As per the report, if you are a Microsoft Edge user, there is now an easier way to access some sync tabs and browsing history on other devices, including mobile phones or desktops, rather than manually Sharing links and copy and paste, etc.
Microsoft’s new server-side update is being rolled out to the stable version of the Edge browser.
It makes history/tag synchronization possible. Of course, it is only possible when you log in to the browser with a Microsoft account on all devices.
History and tag synchronization is a key feature that has been missing since Chromium Edge was founded.
The ability to synchronize history and tags were first introduced to Edge Canary users in October last year, and now finally comes to the stable version of Edge.
In this case, the setting of opening tags and history synchronization is automatically activated in the stable version of Edge.
If your device is included in Microsoft’s A/B test, the options for synchronizing ‘History’ and “Open tabs” will not be grayed out, and you can manually enable them.
Once enabled, you can start to synchronize your history and open tabs between different devices logged into the same Microsoft account. Synchronization will only work if it is enabled in all installations of the browser.
With future builds or server-side updates, more Microsoft Edge users will begin to see this feature enabled.
It is worth mentioning that Microsoft is currently updating the Edge 88 browser, including new security features (password monitor), improvements to the PDF reader, etc.
