According to the Qicha APP, Beijing ByteDance Technology Co., Ltd. recently included’Tik Tok Payment’s trademark app information.
The international classification involves 36 categories of ‘Financial Property Management’, and the trademark status is ‘application for registration’.
In September of this year, ByteDance has indirectly won the payment license, and its products like Toutiao, Douyin, and Watermelon Video may usher in new payment methods.
Bytedance said at the time that this will help improve user experience and, together with other payment methods, it will better serve users of Bytedance’s products.
In June last year, ByteDance obtained three financial licenses for third-party payment and insurance through acquisitions and other means, intending to build its own payment system.
It is reported that in 2019, Beijing ByteDance Technology Co., Ltd. once applied for the trademark of ‘Tik Tok’, the category involves social services, advertising sales, etc.
