Apple is expected to launch AirPods Max Sport headphones in Q1 2021

Well known, Apple’s most expensive and heaviest headset, AirPods Max was officially released on the evening of December 8. In addition to the two “most”, this product is also Apple’s first headset, with a price of up to 4399 yuan ($673.51 US).

Like other Apple products, AirPods Max has aroused heated discussion when it was released. According to several online users, the headset is not only costly but also weighs ridiculously 384.8 grams that is more than half a catty, which is equivalent to three iPhone 12 minis on the head. Apple seems to be aware of this.

Apple is expected to release AirPods Max Sport (sports version) headphones in the middle of next year. According to the report, the AirPods Max sports version will be made of similar silicone resin material, the weight of the whole machine will be controlled at about 290g, and it will be equipped with smaller ear pads.

Although the battery life will be shorter than AirPods Max, the price will also be adjusted, and the estimated price is 400 US dollars (about 2612 yuan).

Compared with AirPods Max, the lighter and more favorable AirPods Max sports version will better meet the needs of ordinary consumers.

What’s interesting is that Apple didn’t set the power button for AirPods Max. Only when the earphone sleeve is put in, the earphone will automatically enter the ultra-low power standby mode.

Additionally, Apple also stated that AirPods Max will enter a low power state within 5 minutes when the headset is removed without putting it in the headset case. In this mode, the power can be maintained for 3 days.

As per the report, the AirPods Max has Apple H1 chips in both earmuffs, and 10 audio cores are built-in. Due to the use of H1 chips, AirPods Max can achieve functions such as active noise reduction, transparent mode, and spatial audio similar to AirPods Pro.

According to Apple’s official website in China, the current delivery cycle of AirPods Max is as long as 7-8 weeks. It seems that after Apple supports the 24-period interest-free period, it has indeed attracted many consumers to buy.
