Apple car will be introduced in September next year: Report

According to the latest report, Apple’s first electric car Apple Car will be released in September next year.

The supply chain pointed out that in accordance with the previous practice of Apple iPhone stocking and urging, Apple recently put forward stocking requirements to Taiwanese auto parts factories such as Heda, BizLink-KY, Heqin, and Tomita, and listed relevant companies in the first wave List of chains.

The industry pointed out that in addition to the leading company Tesla, a new fever-level term “US Double-A” has recently appeared in the domestic electric vehicle supply chain to actively place orders. Some sources revealed that it is Apple and Amazon.

Most importantly, key supply chain manufacturers have confirmed that Apple plans to release the first Apple Car in September next year, at least two years ahead of the original plan, and even the Apple Car prototype has been tested on the road in California. In response to the demand for Apple Car stocking, major manufacturers such as Heda and BizLian have all released orders.

Many sources who broke the news before, such as analyst Guo Mingchi and other sources, said that Apple cars will be released from 2023 to 2025. If Apple really launches electric vehicles two years in advance, it is expected that the new energy vehicle industry will usher in tremendous changes.

The report pointed out that this time there is sufficient stocking of parts and components, and a new factory in Dawei is accelerating the deployment of AI intelligent production lines. It is planned to add six production lines and put them into production in the second quarter of 2021. Heqin and others are also actively expanding cross-strait production and are expected to complete the relocation in the second quarter of next year.

In terms of specific figures, the second phase of the Futian plant is expected to be put into operation next year. The power motor (engine) can be increased from the current capacity of 400,000 to 1 million sets, and the power integrated system can also be increased to more than 400,000 sets.

As we all know, due to the existence of non-disclosure agreements, the above manufacturers have indicated that they cannot disclose more details. But previous news said that Amazon and Rivian will cooperate to launch electric cargo trucks. The first batch of 100,000 vehicles will be ordered. It is expected to debut in August next year, and it will be fully explored in 2022.
