Samsung Galaxy phones get new software and camera updates

Samsung is rolling out exciting updates for some of its Galaxy phones. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 are now getting a fresh software update with the May 2025 security patch. This update, based on One UI 7, is starting in Korea and will soon reach more countries.
It makes these phones more secure and stable, fixing bugs and improving how they work. Users can download it by going to Settings, then Software Update, and selecting Download and Install. The update is about 380MB and keeps your phone safe from the latest threats while boosting performance.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy A56, M56, and F56 are getting a cool new feature with their One UI 7 update: the Camera Assistant app. This app, previously only on high-end Galaxy phones, lets users tweak their camera settings for better photos and videos.
You can adjust things like sharpness, contrast, and saturation to make your shots look just right. The update also includes the May 2025 security patch for added protection. To get it, head to Settings, tap Software Update, and follow the steps to download.
These updates show Samsung’s commitment to keeping both its foldable and mid-range phones up to date with the latest features and security. Whether you’re using a Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, or an A56, M56, or F56, your phone is about to get even better. Check for the update today to enjoy a smoother, safer, and more customizable experience.
