Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro boasts double the graphics speed of its predecessor

Last year, news broke that Samsung was working on a tough new tablet called the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro. This device is set to replace the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro and take the lead as Samsung’s top rugged tablet. Early leaks already shared its model numbers, battery info, connection features, and processor details.
Now, Samsung has tested the tablet on Geekbench, a popular performance tool. This test confirms the processor type, shows the memory size and Android version, and gives us a peek at how powerful it is. It also hints that Samsung might be ready to release this tablet soon. Let’s dive into the details.
Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro Appears on Geekbench
We found a Samsung device with the model number SM-X356B on Geekbench. That’s the code for the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro. The test shows it uses Qualcomm’s Adreno 810 graphics chip. Right now, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is the only processor with this graphics setup, so it’s likely the one powering the tablet.
A past leak also pointed to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, and Geekbench backs that up. The tablet comes with 6GB of RAM, though Samsung might offer other memory options too. It runs Android 15, so it could ship with Samsung’s One UI 7.0 software.
In the tests, the tablet scored 1,174 points for single-core CPU power, 3,371 points for multi-core CPU power, and 4,453 points for graphics. Compare that to the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro, which got 1,019, 2,876, and 2,341 points with its Snapdragon 778G chip.
This means the new tablet is 15% quicker in single-core tasks, 17% faster in multi-core tasks, and a huge 90% better in graphics—nearly twice as fast! That’s a big leap, especially for visuals. Since Samsung is already testing the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro, it seems the tablet is fully developed. This suggests a launch could happen soon. We expect more news about it in the near future.
