February 2025 security update for Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Series

Samsung

Samsung has released a new security update for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, improving the safety and stability of these devices. The update is now available for users in Europe and will soon reach more regions.

This update focuses on security, fixing more than 50 issues that could harm your device. It doesn’t add new features but ensures your tablet runs more securely. The patch addresses one critical and 34 high-priority security flaws in the Android system, though two of these do not affect Galaxy devices.

Additionally, Samsung has fixed seven specific vulnerabilities in their apps like Samsung Find and settings components. To find this update, look for One UI build versions that end in AXKB on your Galaxy Tab S10+ or Ultra. The update size is about 440MB, so make sure you have enough space and a good internet connection.

If you want to check for this update, go to your tablet’s “System Settings,” then find and tap “Software update,” and finally hit “Download and install.” Remember, the update might not show up immediately for everyone since it’s a phased rollout.

Currently, both the Tab S10+ and Ultra are running on Android 14 with One UI 6.1.1, but users are looking forward to the upcoming Android 15 with One UI 7. Samsung is expected to roll out this new version once it’s stable for the Galaxy S24 series. Keep your device safe and updated with this February 2025 security patch!
