Make your home screen super customizable with One UI 7

One UI 7 has brought a big change to how you can decorate your phone’s home screen. With the new Samsung Home Up tool, you can now make your phone’s layout look just the way you want it.
The update includes a special feature called DIY Home for home screen customization. When you click on the DIY Home button, you enter a world where you can place apps and widgets anywhere you like. You can even put them half off the screen or let them overlap for a unique, messy look that’s all your own.
This freedom is limited to the area above the bottom dock where your main apps sit. Everything else can be moved around, and even folders can be turned or flipped without losing their function. Plus, there are options to tweak how things move and look when you interact with them, making your phone feel more personal.
Home Up in DIY Mode
One UI 7 has made Home Up part of the One UI Home app. Now, you can dive into these customization options right from your phone’s home screen settings, without needing another app. Samsung stands out by giving users this deep level of control over animations and appearances.
One UI 7 Update
The rollout for One UI 7 is on its way, with the Samsung Galaxy S24 series set to get the next beta version soon. However, Samsung hasn’t shared when exactly this will happen or which phones will get it first. The update will come out in stages, not all at once, so keep an eye out for when it reaches your device.
