Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Fold 6 SE receive February 2025 security update

Samsung has released the February 2025 security update for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE. This update brings the latest Android security patch, enhancing the security and stability of these foldable phones for a better user experience.
The update is based on Android 14, and while users look forward to Android 15, they can expect the stable version of One UI 7 to arrive sometime in March or April 2025.
The update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Fold 6 SE can be recognized by the build versions F956NKSS2AYAA for the Fold 6 and F958NKSS2AYAA for the Fold 6 SE. Initially available in Korea, this update will soon roll out to other regions.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 SE February 2025 Update Details
The February patch addresses one critical and thirty-four high-level Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) in the Android system. However, two of these do not affect Galaxy devices. Additionally, Samsung has included seven Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs) that address issues in apps like Samsung Find and various components of the Android settings.
To install the update, go to Settings, then Software Update, and select Download and Install. The size of this update is approximately 350MB. Keep in mind, this might take some time to reach all devices as it’s an initial rollout.
