Samsung updates icon for Find App in One UI 6.1.1

Samsung introduced Android 15 with One UI 7.0 a couple of months ago, bringing several enhancements like a new look, better animations, and fresh features. Among these updates, there’s a new icon for the Samsung Find app. Now, Samsung is bringing this same updated icon to devices running on the older Android 14 with One UI 6.1.1.
A user on Reddit pointed out that Samsung has changed the Find app’s icon on One UI 6.1.1 to match the one from One UI 7.0. You can see the difference in the images below; the old icon is on the left, and the new one is on the right.
When we checked our Galaxy S23, which runs One UI 6.1.1, we saw it still had the old icon. Curious, we went to the Galaxy Store to check if there was an update for the Find app that would bring the new icon. Indeed, the app’s listing on the store showed the new icon and an update was available today. However, even after updating, our Galaxy S23 still displayed the old icon.
It seems Samsung is rolling out this new icon through a server-side update in stages. Even if the new icon isn’t a big change, it’s nice to see Samsung focusing on these small details.
The “Samsung find” icon has been updated on One UI 6.1.1. Its One UI 7 icon now.
