Samsung has just released a new update for the Home Up app from Good Lock, much to the delight of Galaxy users. This update comes before the rollout of One UI 7.0, giving users a taste of what’s to come.
New Features to Customize Your Home Screen
The latest version of the Home Up app, now at 16.0.00.56, adds cool new features for those with the latest One UI 7.0 (only on Galaxy S25 so far). You can now adjust how animations look on your home screen. If you want to download this update, head over to the Galaxy Store.
February 2025 Samsung Home Up Update
The app’s look has been refreshed to fit with One UI 7.0’s style, making it feel fresh and new. However, the English translation within the app needs some work. Without even opening the Home Up app, you can tweak your home screen settings right from the One UI Home launcher. Now, you can place icons and widgets freely without worrying about grids.
Customize Gestures and More
A big plus is the ability to customize animations for home gestures. You can now use multiple fingers for gestures anywhere on your screen. Check out our quick video to see these new features in action and get a glimpse of the updated design.
The app now lets you hide your favorite apps to keep your home screen tidy. You can also change how big your app icons and folders look. There’s more room to play around with button placements too.
Enhanced Edge Panels and Taskbar
With this update, Edge Panels can show more at once. On foldable devices or tablets, you can rearrange icons on the taskbar or add new items to it for a more personalized experience. This update brings a lot of new ways to make your Samsung device feel uniquely yours, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
