Apple Books app is now offering a new feature called “Year in Review”. It is generally a recap of all those books and audiobooks that users have read in the current year. It further details the total time spent reading, the longest book or audiobook you read, the most-read author or genre, and more.
It is worth mentioning that this feature will only show up for those titles that are marked as finished. Besides, users who have completed at least three books will be able to access this feature.
How to access the ‘Year in Review’ feature in the Apple Books app?
Currently, the company has rolled out the latest addition to select countries including the US, UK, Australia, Canada, France, and Germany. Moreover, you should have the newest version of iOS or iPadOS installed on your device to enjoy this perk.
“To add books or audiobooks, readers can tap and hold on to any book in the app and choose Mark as Finished. To change the finished date shown, users can hold down on the book and select Edit Finished Date.”
