1. Via Computer

  • Visit the https://drive.google.com
  • Tap on the gear icon at the top right corner of the screen
  • Select the Settings option
  • Look for the Offline section
  • Checkmark the box for Create, open, and edit your recent Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides files on this device while offline
  • Hit the Save Changes option

2. Via Smartphone

  • Open the Google Drive app
  • Click on the three-dot menu in the top right corner
  • Select Settings
  • Choose the Offline access option
  • Turn on the toggle for Offline access
