Google Home is the ultimate place to control your smart home products but still, many users depend on the old Nest app, which is currently stuck with a strange notifications issue. Eventually, the application is unable to send prompts and new alerts.
To those who are unaware, the respective app mainly sends notifications for the Nest doorbell and motion detection on your handset. However, a few Pixel 8 and 8 Pro owners reported that the application won’t send any prompt at all.
How to resolve the Google Nest app notifications issue?
- Disable and re-enable notification permissions via Android app settings
- Toggle off notifications in the Nest app for some time and re-enable it
- Check the app version
- Download the latest app build
- Try a factory reset
