Apple has released a new and stable iOS 17.1 update and iPhone users are ready to install this useful version. Compared to the major iOS 17 upgrade, this is a minor rollout but contains noteworthy changes, bug fixes, and improvements for the overall device system.
How to install Apple iOS 17.1 update on your iPhone?
If you are a beta tester with an eligible iPhone or iPad, then you will be notified about the stable version. Meanwhile, other users can follow the steps below.
- Open the Settings app
- Scroll down and tap on the General section

- Resolves an issue where the names of incoming callers may not appear when you are on another call
- Addresses an issue where custom and purchased ringtones may not appear as options for your text tone
