Samsung confirms that Camera Assistant app will be released to Galaxy A series phones in the second half of the year

Samsung community moderators confirmed that the Camera Assistant application will be released to the Galaxy A series mobile phones in the second half of this year.

Camera Assistant is a new module of the Good Lock application, which supports HDR options, de-sharpening options, continuous shooting without delay, and camera timeout.

The Camera Assistant feature is currently only available on the following models:

Galaxy S23 series

Galaxy S22 series

Galaxy S21 series

Galaxy S20 series

Galaxy Note 20

Samsung W23

Samsung W23 Flip

Galaxy Z Fold 4

Galaxy Z Fold 3

Galaxy Z Fold 2

Galaxy Z Flip 4

Galaxy Z Flip 3

The community moderator said: “Camera Assistant will try to support as many models as possible. The Galaxy A series will get this feature through the OneUI update in the second half of the year. We will notify you as soon as the update is available.”
