It is reported that Jigsaw collaborated with psychologists from the Universities of Cambridge and Bristol to create a 90-second video clip, which will be broadcast on platforms such as Google-owned YouTube and Twitter, TikTok, and meta-owned Facebook. Harmful content on social media.

The campaign aims to work with local NGOs, fact-checkers, academics, and disinformation experts to build resilience to anti-refugee rhetoric. Misleading and false information can easily spread widely through social media networks, and governments around the world are pushing for new laws to curb the disinformation campaign.

Jigsaw’s research director, Beth Goldberg, said in an interview that this will be a pilot and hopes to expand the approach to other countries.
