OnePlus is equipped with many amazing features. Many users are not even aware of it. But the features can be very helpful and unique. One such feature is Factory Mode.

OnePlus launched this feature for the first time in its OnePlus 5. Previously this feature was known as Engineer Mode. Later OnePlus removed the code, and renamed the app to Factory Mode. Whereas, Devices below the OnePlus 7 series will not be able to take a permanent unlock code.

  1. Dial *#06# to open the IMEI details screen on your OnePlus smartphone
  2. Long press on the IMEI 1 field to copy it
  3. Open the unlock code generator and paste the IMEI in the blank area
  4. Tap “Convert” to get the unlock code
  5. Dial *#*#5646#*#* on your OnePlus
  6. You will be prompted to scan the QR code
  7. Here, enter the unlock code in the area
  8. Press the OK button, when you are done
  9. Decrypted successfully, valid forever” text will be displayed on your screen
