According to the latest report, AMD’s Ryzen 5800X3D and 5700X processors were officially launched recently. Today, MSI announced that it’s B550 and X570 chipset motherboards will provide an upgraded BIOS first to better support the new CPU.

Moreover, MSI said that these motherboards specifically include the X570S family of ACE Ares, UNIFY-X Shadow, CARBON Diablo, EDGE Blade, TOMAHAWK Tomahawk Missile, and TORPEDO Torpedo. The ACE Ares, UNIFY Shadow, etc. of the X570 chipset will also receive the first updates.
In addition to X570S / X570, the UNIFY/-X Shadow, GAMING PLUS gaming board, TOMAHAWK Tomahawk missile, EDGE blade (including ITX), and MORTAR mortar of the B550 family are also in the first batch of update plans.
Furthermore, MSI said that the new BIOS is mainly for performance optimization of 5800X3D and 5700X processors to improve stability, and will gradually update the kernel version in the future to continuously optimize and improve functions. Additional chipset and model updates and support plans will be announced at a later date.
