H3C launched new enterprise-level smart-native Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) AP

H3C Group, a subsidiary of Tsinghua Unigroup, launched the world’s first enterprise-level smart native Wi-Fi 7 AP new products WA7638 and WA7338. At present, although Wi-Fi 6 has greatly improved its speed, its latency is still difficult to meet the latency requirements of emerging applications such as VR/AR and online games.

Moreover, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) completely subverts the network experience of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax). The introduction of new technologies such as high speed, low latency, and multi-AP collaboration enables Wi-Fi 7 to meet the innate conditions for enterprise digital transformation and emerging applications.

High rate

  • Wi-Fi 7 supports three frequency bands of 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz, and the maximum bandwidth is increased to 320MHz. The 4096QAM modulation method is introduced, and it supports 16*16 MU-MIMO, and the maximum negotiation rate reaches 46.08Gbps.

Low latency

  • For delay-sensitive services, Wi-Fi 7 controls the delay within 5ms, which is 100% lower than the 10-20ms delay of Wi-Fi 6.

Multi-AP collaboration

  • Realize coordination and joint transmission among multiple APs, avoid interference and collision between BSSs, and greatly improve air interface resource utilization.

According to reports, through cloud-network-side collaboration and H3C’s innovative iRadio, iStation, iEdge, and iHeal technologies, H3C Wi-Fi 7 APs can realize intelligent radio frequency management, intelligent terminal access, intelligent service assurance, and intelligent network healing.

The H3C Wi-Fi 7 AP supports tri-band 12 streams and tri-band 10 streams, with a transmission rate of up to 18.44Gbps. Among them, the limit rate of a single terminal reaches 11.53Gbps, which is 2.4 times higher than that of Wi-Fi 6. Under the 80Mb/s stream, the download time of 72GB 8K video is less than 1 minute.

Combined with the latest Wi-Fi 7 protocol, H3C’s Wi-Fi 7 AP can achieve 400+ high concurrency, and the number of concurrent access to a single AP is doubled, solving the problem of high-density deployment. H3C native Wi-Fi 7 AP can accurately analyze terminal status and behavior, and guide terminal access.

At the same time, it intelligently selects the array antenna and adjusts the signal power based on the terminal and the message, ensuring the wireless network experience of the terminal with the lowest signal coverage, reducing the air interface conflict and interference, and greatly improving the concurrency capability and performance of the AP in high-density scenarios.

Furthermore, the support of MLO, MRU, and multi-AP collaborative technology greatly improves the utilization of channel resources, making the delay less than 5ms. Suitable for high-bandwidth, low-latency 8K video, VR/AR, online games, and other application scenarios.
