The Electronic Software Association (ESA), the organization that organizes the E3 Electronic Entertainment Show, today emailed top marketing representatives in the gaming industry to announce that it has canceled E3 2022. While officials did not explain the details of the show’s cancellation, planners hope to “regroup and start again with a larger event in 2023.”

Moreover, ESA once canceled the E3 exhibition in 2020 due to the epidemic, but E3 2021 (the 26th Electronic Entertainment Exhibition) will be held from June 12 to 15, 2021 in a virtual and online format way successfully held.

Of course, the cancellation of official events will not affect the spontaneous activities of fans, and sources expect that many “E3 Week” programs will be held separately in June. In addition, Microsoft, Google, and Apple will also hold their developer conferences or networking events, as should Nintendo, Ubisoft, and Xbox.
